Integrated servo motors are different from other motors

1. Introduction
An integrated servo motor is a device that integrates a motor and a servo controller. It combines the traditional separate structures of motor and servo controller into one, greatly simplifying the system design and installation process. Integrated servo motors are widely used in the field of industrial automation and have the advantages of small size, high power density, and fast response speed.

2. Principle
An integrated servo motor consists of a motor, a servo controller, an encoder, and a communication interface. The motor is responsible for rotation, the servo controller is responsible for controlling the speed and position of the motor, the encoder is used to feedback the actual rotation of the motor, and the communication interface is used to interact with other devices.

The servo controller calculates the speed and position error of the motor by receiving the feedback signal from the encoder, and adjusts the power supply voltage and current of the motor according to the set control algorithm to achieve precise control of the motor. Usually, the servo controller adopts the PID control algorithm, that is, proportional, integral and differential control, and continuously adjusts the control parameters so that the motor can respond to the control signal quickly and accurately.

An integrated servo motor can also interact with other devices through the communication interface to achieve remote monitoring and control. Common communication interfaces include Ethernet, CAN bus and RS-485, etc. You can choose the appropriate communication protocol according to actual needs.

3.Difference
1. Control method
The integrated servo motor adopts closed-loop control, which is mainly composed of servo motor, controller and encoder. It has highly accurate position, speed and torque control capabilities and can be directly controlled by digital signals. Other motors mostly adopt open-loop control, that is, the control signal is sent to the motor, but the position control at the millimeter level cannot be achieved.

2. Accuracy
The integrated servo motor has high precision, high reliability and stability, usually with a small error range, and can achieve high-precision position control under high-speed motion or high-load conditions. However, other motors have relatively low accuracy due to open-loop control, and their accuracy will change to varying degrees due to factors such as voltage fluctuations and mechanical load changes.

3. Scope of application
The integrated servo motor is suitable for precision control fields such as mechanical processing, medical equipment, precision electronic equipment, etc. Other motors are mainly used in some simple mechanical equipment and ordinary electronic equipment, and are widely used in industrial automation applications with relatively low requirements for position and speed.
